It is a well-known fact that Apple generally launches new iPhones every year at their September event, but they didn’t do that this year. The event solely focused on the new Apple Watch Series 6 and iPad Air. But the great news is that they hosted another event yesterday where iPhone 12 was the star of the show.
Here are some of the products that were unveiled during the event!
iPhone 12 Series
Apple announced 4 devices in three different sizes in the iPhone 12 series. They are named as iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The size of the phones ranges from a 5.4-inch screen to a mammoth 6.7-inch display. The biggest version comes with a triple-lens housing that debuted with the iPhone 11 Pro, while the smaller models will have a dual-lens set-up at the back. It is said the new range of iPhones will include super-fast 5G wireless connectivity for the first time and will be available for purchase from 23 October.
HomePod Speaker was initially announced three years back, and in the meanwhile, Apple has issued endless software updates to boost its functionality, but it was not able to achieve a mark in the smart home audio devices market. That could change be changed with the arrival of the HomePod Mini, a smaller HomePod whose price will start from £99/$99. This new HomePod will include some of the best features from the older version. Apple is confident that it will be available to pre-order on 6 November.
Apple has also launched new cases, wallets, and chargers designed specially for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. It is speculated that the built-in magnets in the chargers allow for effortless attachment and quick wireless charging. It is believed that these chargers will change the way people usually charge their iPhones, and its demand will increase exponentially in the coming years.
